Be Original, Be You, Be Ranked Higher
It was Web Wisdom Wendsday for us yesterday and I thought we could share the post with the Rain Community too! I'm sure you have heard "Content is King" before and from our years experiences and working with Google, it is absolutely true for SEO.
Add Original Content:
Google loves original content. Display your knowledge of your market by sharing from your experience of living or working there. Adding a page with information of the schools, community atmosphere, parks, etc, can help you rank and show your expertise. Holidays are coming up, posting upcoming events, such as annual Christmas Baking Competition, can get homebuyers more interested in moving to the community!
Refrain from Copy/Paste:
As tempting as it is to copy/paste information about your community, doing so will only hurt your ranking. Let your personality shine through by writing in your own words. Plus, the information is probably more interesting coming from you, a passionate resident and agent than a fact page anyway.
Add Images:
A picture is worth a thousand words! Add your own pictures! Especially now that we are in the winter season, adding pictures of your community with auburn leaves or already snow-covered scenery is a beautiful update for your website. Don't be afraid to dress up your Home page in Holiday colors either. Show you holiday spirit through images of Christmas lights or clip art snow flakes.
Bottom line is, show your unique style through your original writings on your website. Its great for rankings and easy for potential clients to get to know you!
