Not Looking For Your Referrals
This post was inspired by yet another telemarketing call promising me hundreds of referrals.
I would much rather earn my referrals rather than pay for them.
Don't get me wrong, I would be happy to help you, your family or your favorite client here in the Baltimore area but I am not looking for your referrals.
Buyers and sellers come from my blogging, from my networking, from my print media, from my past clients, from my friends & friends of my friends and from my radio show. My goal is to keep my own pipeline full.
What if the Internet went down? Would I still have clients?
What if blogging stopped? Would I still have clients?
What if print media closed shop? Would I still have clients?
What if there was no weekly radio show? Would I still have clients?
I think so.
Especially with word of mouth, past clients, friends, networking and the use of the telephone...I would still have clients calling to sell their property.
