I have found that Loons are an indicator of an exceptional lake, clean water, low traffic, the kind of place to go for a little quiet relaxation.
William Feela has a knack for finding these exceptional lakes among the 10,000 or so lakes in Minnesota, you should really give him a call.
But if you are a diehard Packer fan and you would rather stay on this side of the river and look for one of these prizes among the 15,000 lakes in Wisconsin, I may be able to help you there.

It has been almost 4 weeks since I first saw her. (or him)
Mamma Loon sitting on the nest.
I went back on Wed morning and whe was still there.
She does not seam to worry about me being there, oc course, I am still 75 feet or so away.
She posed for a very nice picuture.
