What is the best neighborhood in Miami?

By
Real Estate Agent with David Siddons Group

Where in Miami should you live and is the best neighborhood in Miami for you?

We are constantly asked “What is the best neighborhood to live in Miami?” Of course this depends on your lifestyle and needs. A recent poll which interviewed 100 of Miami’s best agents concluded that the best home market for families was Coral Gables followed by Pinecrest and then Coconut Grove. The best neighborhood for retirees and snowbirds was said to be Miami Beach.

What was voted as the most important elements in a purchase? It was ‘walkability’ and ‘schools’. In reality though I can tell you that many of my clients over the years have seen things differently, and have different priorities to one another – as you might expect. We also notice that neighborhood markets move in popularity over the years – some can become more expensive in comparison to others and so become less desirable, while the cheaper but equally attractive neighborhoods become more desirable. Some neighborhoods are going through a renaissance and become ‘in vogue’ with the delivery of new shops and services and other neighborhoods can become overly saturated and may be heading for periods of ‘price adjustment’ at certain price points and levels.

Our market reports for each neighborhood are key and provide all of this and more!  – but if you want the most concise advice and guidance, pick up the phone and call me. Or if you want email me. I love talking real estate with clients and because I busy myself everyday with tracking markets and learning whats going on, as well as ‘searching out the best deals’ I am delighted to share the information!

Have a look at our total overview of all Miami Neighborhoods with a short description! Each Neighborhood will link to our neighborhood page providing you with listings, market statistics and much more usefull information

David Siddons

Welcome to Active Rain.

That was an incredibly insightful title that resonated with every reader. We have all heard the "What's the best neighborhood?" question.

And just as you have shared, the 'marketing assessment' never quite aligns with what agents with boots on the ground observe 'cause it all depends.

When August arrives every year here in Tampa, I head to Miami for vacation. Actually Pompano Beach with a couple of days in South Beach before heading to Key West.

Here on Active Rain you will find a community of professionals sharing experience, knowledge and in some cases, resources. We all started exactly where you were a few hours ago, looking a screen full of letters, sighing, "Here goes nothing!" and clicking the publish button.

That small act of courage, demonstrated by each one of us, is one of the threads that bind us together as a community.

As a community we would encourage you to be your genuine self. Tell us a little about yourself. Many here are from executive positions, some educators, some health-care providers, and on and on and by calamity, vision are tragedy we find ourselves in this place called Active Rain. This diversity within Active Rain allows those of courage to bring a different voice to the conversation. It is often the different voice, the voice from the wilderness that speaks the truth more often than those voices in the choir.

Commission your self to make of Active Rain that which is beneficial to you.

Take time to have some fun.

Play in the rain.

Umbrella optional.

Best is success,

Annette
