You are extremely talented. I first saw your work on stager idol when I first joined RESA not too long ago and to say the least your work is outstanding. I will continue to look to you and Kathy as mentors and inspiration in the staging industry.
Hi Jackson, What a great post! Kathy is a HUGE inspiration for sure. You are an inspiration as well. That transformation gets a F-A-B-U-L-O-U-S from me, for sure!
Yep, I'm with Gina....'What Would Kathy Do?' T-shirts...too funny!!!! =)
Jackson- The after is divine! Wowza!! Simplicity at it's best.

I love the color scheme and I love your company name!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE the ceilings.....
I also love what you did with the place. Was there anyplace to sit in the first photo? Clearly there is plenty of seating now.
NOT Fair Mr..... Everything you do looks fantastic... So much talent so little of you to go around!
Congratulations Jackson on another masterpiece! Your top five "buddy"..~R
Unbelievable. You did a fantastic job. I bet that sold really quick. What did the owners have to say? Very, very nice. I like how you took a picture so you could see the ceiling details too.

Jackson,
Fantastic! You took this room that had no purpose and transformed it into WOW! I love the angles you chose to place the sofas and chairs on. To think that this beautiful room was hidden with all the childrens toys and clutter. You really made a difference for these homeowners and I am sure they were in shock when they saw this rooms transformation. Continued Success!
I have been away from "The Rain" for a while but I wanted to thank you for all the great comments on this transformation. Interesting how things change on a dime, I mentioned that we don't often stage houses but after doing this one less than 2 weeks ago, we did another large 4 bedroom house and I got flown to Calgary to stage a house there! Things are returning to "normal" this week and I will be back to dealing with elevators and loading zones.
Kathy, I was delighted to reference you and give you some "link love"! This is something Craig did for me a long time ago and I never forgot it.
Gina I loved the idea of the t shirt, perhaps I will place this one on Stager's List!
Ronelle, Teresa and Tanya, the artwork is from a wholesaler called Art In Motion.
Kimberly, I love the use of angles to create movement and a sense of approachability. Placing the carpet first and "building" from there is the best way to get the perfect angle.
Thanks again everyone for visiting my blog and taking the time to comment. May we all continue to "stage it forward"!
Jackson - If you decide to put those t shirts on StagersList, I'd order a 100 of them (smile). It was kind of you to share the link love and I so appreciate you taking the time.
As for staging condos vs. houses. I staged a condo this past week and can relate to the challenges you mentioned. In this particular condo, the parking garage is located two buildings away from the condo. There were two of us and it took 1.5 hours to just get the accessories into the condo. That was four days ago and my feet are now on the mend. And by the way, I blame you! You make staging condos seem so effort-less. I smell a blog coming.
Kathy
Miss your posts - its nice to have a local (relatively speaking) stager posting1 :-)
Kathy, there are definitely some other things to consider when staging condos. I spend so much time in underground parking garages and elevators it is unreal. Schlepping furniture and accessories in and out of high rise buildings with multiple doors adds hours to the job. Door stops are an important component of my tool box. Coordinating the elevator usage with the concierge or building manager is often challenging and creates an additional time restraint. In my area of service houses are few and far between and although they usually require significantly more inventory, I love it when we get the opportunity to stage an actual house!
Liz, thanks for stopping by, I have been away from the rain for some time now due to a hectic schedule. I have friends in "the Whack" that will be selling their house soon and I will forward them your contact info.
Hi Jackson, I love what you do. I have looked at many images of your work and I appreciate your Staging look so much.
If you get a moment please check out the first page of my website to see examples of my current work. Just scroll down. They range from million dollar house to simple war time house in a working class neighbourhood. I have not done a condo yet but your work is truly inspiring.
I wish you much succes this year. M
Jackson, Looks wonderful as always! Simply elegant. I love those colors.
