This past friday was early registration for Kindergarden. So my daughter and I went to go register. We got there early and she watched how all the kids were getting to school. They were coming by bus, walking, bikes and parents dropping off. She was amazed and excited. All I could think was I can't believe my daughter is starting school. Fear and excitment all at the same time, who would have thought!

AnissaSo while we were on line I noticed many parents being turned away. It turned out that many of the kids were missing a second Varicella Shot. Including my daughter. So luckily her doctor's office was in the building next door and were able to go and get her shot and come right back to register before it was over. She was not happy with. But she got her pride shirt and made up for it.

Looking forward to the start of the school year. Look for her first day of school post!!

Jeannette soak it all up now because tomorrow she will be graduating. My second child is graduating this year from highschool and my baby is headed to kindergarten as well. It was just yesterday I was putting my senior on the school bus for the first time. it seems like yesterday.

Wow! The excitement, nervousness and all the other emotions all thrust into one I bet huh? It's very exciting to hear that your daughter will be starting school :D

Ricardo- That makes me more nervous. I saw no fear in her eyes! I'm sure that I won't be as nervous when the time comes, I think I will have more fear. But that too shall pass!

Jeannette,  Oh she is so sweet!  Congrats to both of you.  We have a prep course for K in Ann Arbor.  Do you have that?  She will love it.  Don't blink, she'll be graduating from high school if you do.
