Remember when you stood in a line for something and how you wanted to get to that point of having your turn for whatever is being offered or the reason why you stood or got in the line to begin with? The thought process was simple. You wanted something and you went to go get it. Whatever was involved in the getting of it satisfied making it worth it
NO WAITING IN LINE FOR THIS
Life! It was and is a gift of the highest nature coveted by all who are alive and have it. Furthermore, it is given before it is asked for. It has to be! Why? You would have to be alive to ask for it but then what would you ask for if you were alive & had it? It is a gift and a mystery at the same time...
LIFE PROTECTS ITSELF
Deep within all living creation is the command to self=preserve this life gift even without awareness to do so. It is so deeply ingrained that survival mechanisms kick in quicker than one can request or think to do. Life has its own terms & dynamics so this doesn't surprise me but I do remain marveled and awed
LIFE REMINDERS
We tend to get so busy in the "wanting" and pursuing of so many things that we give the life awareness a back seat another words we take it for granted. However, there are little episodes in every living creatures living of life that rise up and appear reminding us that life is at work...
LIFE ABOVE ALL
When your life is threatened, it also has a distinct message before, during and after-wards stating without words that this is paramount and above all things bar none in the moment it makes itself known. Everything else pales away and loses its appeal, lust, and desire no matter what it is...
LIFE GIVEN
When this reminder or episode (s) pass (s), then what one can do with life reappears and that is different for everyone. Interesting to note that one can live any type of life they choose because with the physically giving of it there are no catches or conditions. Here is life. Use it and we all do
REMIND ME?
This makes us at some point (and this point is different for all of us), as to when we reach it to ponder why me? Why am I here and what is required? Because this question doesn't present an answer in ways we are accustomed to receiving answers, we move on until the next reminder whenever that comes
HAVING BUT WHAT?
It is even more interesting to note that when a person gets their fill of whatever comes up on their radar of life, their wants, needs, desires or lusts, at some point, the having of these things become mundane & even superficial. Interesting this awareness is. That means something else is at work yet undiscovered
LIFE BEING LIVED
It was the discovery of these items and then the going to get them that gave and fed the life process giving it meaning and what we commonly call purpose. On minor or of no serious consequence levels, attaining all you can have, eat, drink and pleasure loses its reward factor but does keep one occupied
FULLNESS of LIFE
That begs the question of; What is a full life? Is it one were you live longer but repeat the same things over and over? How about one of quality where your experiences are deep and rewarding surpassing material gain? Is it to be hoarded or shared and if so, how?
MISSPENT LIFE
Have you ever seen someone you either knew or heard about that caused you to think or utter; They are throwing their life away? You can actually see a misspent life clear as can be. We may not know what it is to correctly respond, engage, interact & live life to the fullest but we know when we are not doing this
HOW TO MEASURE IT
How to measure life? Is it to be based on one type of dynamic lets say longevity? Or is it to be based on purpose and accomplishment? We tend to take for granted that we have it until it is at risk. If one needs to risk losing it to be reminded of its essence and value, then something is not right or whole or is it?
LIFE GIVEN
Another thought is the often repeated statement; no greater gift can be given from one person to another than to lay down ones life for another. This statement is so full of impact that it cannot be put into words. The one who gives their life has no way to know what happened after-wards either...
WHOSE TO SAY?
The one who received or benefited from some person giving their life so that another can live is deeply impacted assuming they know it took place. Many provide for and live dynamic, heroic driven acts that never come to be known or acknowledged but never the less are at work. You are here because of them
LIFE SACRIFICE
Sacrifice is directly connected to this subject. If you are a parent, you are inducted into this dynamic automatically. What parent doesn't suffer or fore-go some sort of personal gain or want so that their family, loved ones etc. doesn't benefit first? It can be done in large or small doses & all circumstances
DON'T WASTE
We are reminded not to waste time. We usually equate this with money but the real reason is that we are only allotted so much life and that's it. However, it comes with a fascinating wild card of a sort. How much time? When? That's the kicker! Furthermore, we tend not to dwell on this until prompted
IT'S YOUR TURN
When first coming into the world, we have no awareness of this subject nor do we grasp it even growing up. At some point, and that point is usually after the fact, we discover what is going on and why but it cost us time. How many of us have reflected on this thought process as follows....
GO-BACK
If we could only go back with the knowledge of what we learned and know and then start out. We now know what works and what doesn't but again, we paid with our life's to find out. It helps if one is given the coveted head start by others and uses this wisely. Of course one would have to listen...wouldn't they
YOU WHO?
We search for life on other planets because we marvel at the thought of how that can be and what would it be and why? Yet a better way to appreciate this is to go inside instead of the outside and discover the inner vastness of it all. Awaiting is the mystery of YOU....It could take all your life but then again, that is what life is for
