Photo of the Day . . .

By
Home Inspector with Complete Home Inspections, Inc. TN Lic#050

There is never a dull moment in my business. I ran across this redneck installation for a smoke alarm the other day. Yeah Buddy! We jes gott have them’er smoking alarm thingies properly installed. This one was about 4 feet off the floor. Oye Vay! I can’t wait to see what some idjet will come up with next. On second thought, yeah, I can. Today is a new day and there will be plenty of blog fodder out there.

This post is a contribution to the Active Rain network.

Have you joined my birthday alarm? It is fast painless and the best part of all, you will be helping me out.

Thanks, Michael

Well at least the batteries will not need replacing, but if the power goes out I hope thier is not a actual fire. That is too funny!

So when the thing catches on fire the smoke will not have to go as far to alert the family

Michael,  LOL.  You just never know what's going on in a person's mind.  This was probably for the smoke that lingered near the floor and refused to move :)

You photos would make a great coffee table book for any real estate offices reception area.

Michael, from some of the comments it would seem that many people are not aware that hardwired smoke alarm/detectors without batteries are very common---do I see another blog coming?
