What is the biggest private Lake in Oakland County?

Sometimes potential lake home buyers ask me what is the biggest private lake in Oakland County?  There are many big public all sports lakes, but there are fewer private lakes.  Some lake home buyers believe that a private lake will have less "undesirables" on the lake, less boat traffic, and the ability to control what goes on ....on the lake.  

Lake Angelus is the largest all-sports private lake in Oakland County, sitting at 470 acres!  This beautiful Oakland County lake offers you with beautiful views, privacy, and great neighbors. Lake Angelus is the first lake of the Clinton chain of lakes. While it is an all-sports lake, jet-skis and wave runners are not allowed. You can still enjoy your water-sport activities, such as skiing, wake-boarding, tubing, and fishing! On top of all these fun things to do, the lake is partially surrounded by a 500 Acre nature preserve. Waking up in the morning with not only a gorgeous sunrise off the water but also friendly woodland creatures in your yard, there’s nothing that makes you feel more a part of nature while in your own home!

I would call Lake Angelus in Oakland County a prestigious lake.  It is not likely that you are going to find a small cottage on this lake for $300,000.  There are many million dollar plus homes.  Many of the homes sit on acreage.  This is a lake that you will find privacy and space between the neighbors.   Many of the lake home owners will be in the higher demographics.  What I mean by that is that the home owners will be CEOs, CFOs, business owners, and doctors, and upper management white collar workers.
