7 Things Most Realtors Do Not Recognize As Intelligent To Do

Reblogger Eva B. Liland Century 21 Doug Anderson

To me, as a Realtor, I always do my best returning phone calls right away. If I am with another client, I always ask for permission to send out a quick text message saying "I'm with a client, will call you later". That way, whoever tried to call me, knows I'm busy but also satisfied with the text message, knowing I am aware and will respond as quickly as possible.

It is also great to let my current client understand they will be treated with the same urgency when they try to contact me and that I'm a busy woman juggling many tasks at the same time and my clients will always come first.

That's the way I see it and I'm sticking with it!

1 Return telephone calls promptly.

2 As a listing agent present ALL OFFERS in person. Emailing them is stupid.

3 Keep your name in front of former clients every 4 – 5 weeks. Call them and TALK four times a year minimum!

4 Ask Questions Ask Questions Ask Questions

5 Being nice, polite, kind, gentle, and thankful will get you more than any media advertising

6 Stop listening to agents who sell less than you. Want the TRUTH on their production? Look them up yourself in the MLS. You will be amazingly surprised at their production.

7 BELIEVE IN YOURSELF

More people in America are selling stuff to Realtors, than there are Realtors in America. You Do Not Need Their Services.

Eva, clients do expect a quick return email or phone call, and nice to let them know you are busy, but will do so when finished.

Eva, I always like to let people know that I appreciate their calls, too.  And, letting them know that they are important is a great way to do that!

It's the way to do it, Eva. We are lucky to work together, so one of us can generally steal away for a quick minute to send a message that we will get back to them asap. Or if possible, we just return the call right away.
