Speechless Sunday - Craftsman Passion

Thanks for sharing!  I love a great craftsman as well!  I hope they preserved some of the intricate details on the inside too!

I love that porches seem to be making a come back.  Now if we can just get neighbors out there and visiting with one another.

While new homes are being built, it's the older ones that have weathered the test of time

Believe it or not, we have this style in Arizona as well.  Being that we get so many visitors for the Winter, our styles have been influenced by other states as well.

That is a great looking home. We have a community here that is mostly Craftsman style homes that have been renovated through the years and it's great just the drive through sometimes and look at them.

Debe, I also love the style and of course, that large front porch. 

Debe we have some old homes around here that are absolutely gorgeous once they are renovated.

Craftsman (today maybe "Craftspeople" ?:} )  style homes more than most others have a personality all their own...the kind that warms the 
welcome home to the buyers in a way no other can.

What a pretty place!  It's great when a restoration keeps the original charm in tact.

I have become more of a new home person with modern accents but Craftsman is a wonderful styyle that can take an eclectic decor.

They don't make them like that anymore. I love the older houses. I grew up watching my dad's cousins fix up a 100 year old farmhouse. That left an impression on me. It turned out to be a beautiful home with all of the original woodwork, pocket doors and a second floor with bay windows. That's one reason I just bought a fixer upper. I don't mind the work, and I find the finished job to be very rewarding. 

I love that style as well. We have many of them in our Riverside/Avondale area of Jacksonville
