Something I have always done 99.9864% of my life even from the first grade, is being on time.
I wanted to be the first to school, the first out on the playground, first to band practice, you get the point.
Now when it comes to the professional world, it is not very professional in many cases.
In the past five years I can recall only one or two times the buyer arrived before I arrived, and I was NOT late myself.
Need help in improving this horrible habit? Keep a couple of books in your car. When you arrive 13 minutes early and the client most often will be 10 minutes late, you have something to read and improve the other part of your brain.
Think about how rude it is.
Oh yes… The traffic is not a reason, it is an excuse.
You know there can be an accident, or heavy traffic unexpected, so just take that into consideration before you leave, so you know you will always be on time.
Arrive at meetings, early and become known, introduce yourself to others, welcome them to the meeting. You could make an extra $7,400 from that small gesture.
Track yourself for the next five days, and keep a log to confirm you are making a major change, to be on time every time.
