Meet the Finalists for Aurora CO - City Manager

Aurora lost a great man to cancer this year - Mayor Hogan was our Mayor from November 2011 to the day he passed May 13, 2018.    He served 24 years on the City Council before becoming the Mayor.    

 

Mayor pro tem Marsha Berzins has taken over duties until another mayor will be elected.    Come and meet the finalists for Aurora's new City Manager - 

Finalists -  Malcolm Fleming, former Louisville CM; Odis Jones, CM for Hutto, TX; Keith Riesberg, CM for Rio Rancho, NM; Jim Twombly, former CM for Tulsa, OK

 

 

This event will be July 13, 2018 at 5:30 pm at the Aurora Municipal Center located at 15151 E. Alameda Parkway, Aurora, CO.

Our mayor of Hawaii Island just suffered a 6th heart attack and was hospitalized. I don't think anybody is prepared to lose a leader.

Michael Jacobs our last Mayor was very good for Aurora, did many forward-thinking projects that were financially beneficial to our City.  Hope the next one will be also.

Elizabeth Weintraub Sacramento Real Estate Agent, Top 1% of Lyon Agents Mayor Hogan announced in March he was going into Hospice and passed in May.  It was so sad.  He was definitely a very good leader for the City of Aurora.  Doesn't sound good for your leader.
