And how often do you hear people talk about how personal a person was? That means they had TIME to invest in the day to TALK with you.
My father a teacher for 40 years, liked to talk.
That must be where I learned to talk a lot.
Do you hear and see often about this team and that team when it comes to almost anything anymore?
Well when I think about it, I have a team also: God, my wife, and my dachshund.
We just don’t put their names out there in public, on our business cards and signs.
You see for years we averaged selling 25 homes a year.
With me we just don’t call it the Dan McGinnis Team.
Each seller, and each buyer I have represented received a telephone call from me at least twice a week, and many times more often than that.
Have you noticed another change? It is “wait just a second” it used to be wait or hold just a minute.”
That just a second, is automatically telling me the person is being untruthful, or not thinking before they speak.
Because they are not going to handle the situation in a second.
One thing that hasn’t changed, each of us still have a mouth, and two ears.
What don’t make sense to me, is what people are doing most of the time, to tell me they are: “busy.”
If you are out and about with people every day of the week.
Keep track of how many times your ears hear: “I’m busy.”
Often people ask if I am busy?
My response, we are never too busy to help a person in any way I can.
Even if it means we go to bed later when the day is over, or there have been times I never went to bed at all.
Don't get me wrong; texting, emailing are tremendous conviences, and conviences is all they are.
Just like GPS is a tremendous tool, you use it and don't stay home just because you have it.
That is just how I was taught at an early age.
