Aha! They don't need a lot of room to enter/exit a home.

This goes to show that critters of any kind don't care how much money a house costs when they want to find a place to live.

Debe my wife's Aunt use to have honey bees in her living room walls.  Very annoying as well as destructive.

Debe, find and seek at inspections is always an adventure. This is a first for me, I hope they're safely removed and buzz to a different location.

You are such a buzz kill! Hopefully the hive can be relocated rather than eradicated if it can be reached without too much destruction to the home.

Debe Maxwell, CRS - Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think bees could make a home inside of weep holes! I remember when I moved to TX and learned about weep holes when I was looking for a house (long before I was in real estate). I was curious about these tiny holes and told the Real Estate Agent, why doesn't anyone plug up the holes? She told me if they did, there would be trouble with the structure and weep holes were always good things. And so I asked, what about insects - not a chance, she said. Hmmm, I wonder who that agent was who never stayed in touch with me when I bought my home? 

I have been stung severely twice in my life, 24 times the day my daughter was born and 36 times when I stepped on a railroad tie and the bee's flew up my pant leg and had their way with me (OUCH)! 

I do not mess with bees...

A family member had a hive of bees take up residence in their fireplace chimney.  They called a bee keeper who retrieved them and relocated them.
