Giving and receiving is a short little word phrase that connotes a state of mind and set of dynamics involving the interactions of human beings on the various subjects with nothing spared. Sometimes we give and sometimes we receive. This human principal works on turns as in we all get them
WHEN YOU WANT MORE THAN YOUR SHARE
There are things awaiting everyone free for the asking and allotted with plenty to go around and then there are opportunities to up that to any measure desired. After all, this is America where there is no ceiling on having, wanting, doing and pursuing. However, it can come with consequences if not used correctly
CANDY SHOP PRINCIPAL
The candy store example works for me. You put kids in candy stores and you get different reactions. Some are overwhelmed, some underwhelmed and having to act causes one too many choices to have to be happy. Too much too soon can be too bad. Same with being in a toy store too. One toy doesn't do it but it should
MORE BLESSED TO TAKE?
When one is offered something two distinct things take place. A giver and a receiver is now at work. People who receive remain thankful and those that give like the feeling of doing so. Interesting to note that people prefer to give and have difficulty receiving. However when it comes to taking, it becomes another dynamic
HOW ABOUT THIS TAKE?
When it is your turn take your turn! There is something about having an assigned time or opportunity that gives a type of permission to act & have without pause or hesitation. Your turn grants unconditional access with conduct restrained only (we hope) by ethics, morals & circumstances allowing one to go all out whatever that is
SMORGASBORD
You get to see the dynamic of no restraint at work & up close at these all you can eat places. Interesting if compared to traditional dining where courses are served and its over when it is. Having all you want can cause an unintended result i.e. an unrest or lack of satisfaction to activate because there is "more" to be had. What we find is too much of anything can ruin the experience
MORE or LESS?
This is so subjective & comes with a riddle built-into it defined as LESS is MORE. When one has had enough is subjective but even that person can become burdened as it is hard to turn off this dynamic if unleashed without discipline. We can command it or it will command us. This remains to be seen & learned
WHAT IS CONTENTMENT?
Sometimes we can define things by using my Richie reverse way explained as follows. NOT being content is easy to explain, see and comment on. We know when it is about. The state of "enough", satisfaction and contentment is an ideal place providing you reach it and use it correctly. This applies to everything as well
HOW WE START-OUT
Youth prepares us to be able to go and do most anything without constraints because we can. In time, we discover what is profitable, what to pursue or not and discover a quality over quantity principal. We mature and an interesting end game presents itself. When one has had their fill or enough we are done with it
LACK?
Most humans reach a point of function and then pursue beyond that until they reach the subjective state known only to them as I'M THERE or have arrived. They have what they want and require nothing else except the time, health, and desire to enjoy it all. Lack or lacking is so personal and takes on its own definitions too
BEANS and RICE
Anyone can reach the point where they can purchase 25 pound sacks of beans & rice that when combined make for a nutritious & filling meal for months on end. You will never starve. That's a good place to reach but the majority go on to whatever their wants & needs summon them to. Toward end of life, very little is required not desired.
WHICH WAS BETTER?
Imagine a world or life-style where you only receive? How about one where you only give? The application of both seems to be the ideal. How about we reach the point where all is given and received without the asking? Now that would be something to behold. Reminds me of being a kid. Everything was provided for. It was as simple as that
