Target Marketing Works Well | The Right Timing Helps Too

When the phone stops ringing, change the path. The journey never stops. The marketing method remains the same. Only the direction changes.

 

I purchased a database of homeowners who were within the age range of 65 to 80. The mailing was sent out 4 days ago and landed yesterday. The first call came in today.

 

My game plan was to continue to buy a database of names and addresses in each of the surrounding towns, for that age range of homeowners, if we receive just one call. I’m now on a roll. 

 

Target marketing is the most successful method of marketing. The timing was just perfect for this marketing piece. They called today, and the “temperature outside is below zero.”

I’m hoping they want a referral to a warmer climate. If that’s the case, I know where to find the right agent, no matter what the state may be.

my pleasure..... you won't have need for this postcard .... unless you have a marketplace that gravitates to "winter snow skiing".... LOL... then you can change it to snow covered mountains and skiers who are bundled up....

it would be beneficial for you to promote direct mail marketing to agents in your office.... you already live down south, so you probably don't have use for that postcard....if I'm wrong, let me know and I'll send you the other versions so you can make changes....

Hahahaha ~  agree, we have not yet Zero weather, but we have something down here in Florida that you do not have in the same way,  Barbara Todaro.  Well, what do we have here in Florida, sunny and gorgeous 70-85 degree Winter-land?  We have    ~~ SNOWBIRDS ~~ and many who RENT each season...many who want to live here permanently....
I have a feeling a Barbara Todaro might tell a fellow real estate agent that it's a bit of a reach...a little out of the box...but go for it.  Right?!?

Thanks so much Candice A. Donofrio once that phone call came in, I decided to not only hit the surrounding towns, but I'll be using "public records" via our MLS to search for assessments of homes in price ranges that resale homeowners who have signed with us as buyer agents are searching for.... then we get their listing too....

they have 3 or 4 buyer agent contracts from Franklin homeowners.... I think I can shake some fruit from those trees and land many deals....

That's a great postcard, Barbara, and now is certainly the time to target those who may be tiring of the New England winters. I bet AR is a good resource for finding referral agents who could help anyone who responds to your postcard.
