VIRUS SCHOOL of LIFE TEACHES MUCH

By
Real Estate Broker/Owner with people first...then business Ran Right Realty 636943 licensed to thrill

We are in a cause and effect mode mixed with mild-panic plus a learning curve to a subject we never really heeded but instead took two Tylenol or NyQuil and called it a day. We are all getting educated on this subject just like they would teach it in school only this is better. But there is more going on that meets the eye and the future will reveal it soon enough

THE OBVIOUS

When things settle down and they will, we have learned about what people do, cities, states and government do or don't, products and services, treatments and what really to fear should something like this come again. I will make a list to better handle the subject matter. You are at liberty to add to it. The point is: This little wake-up call will serve us for decades in the many ways of the human experience

1. Stock-up! I was aware of this when getting my Community Emergency Response Team  (cert) training. The idea was to take action until the government can get to you and restore normalcy. This applied to medical, food, water, utilities and safety issues. Life as you know it will be on pause. A new life of self-sufficiency will present itself. Be ready!

2. Guns & ammo! I know it is a touchy subject. There is already rules in place for these but we now know to stay and plan ahead because this will be the first thing to be cut-off by the suppliers themselves let alone government agencies. Sad but true this remains for the populace their first line of defense since our country was formed.

3. Rescue yourself! That's right. No one is going to be there like you will be. Learn to be self-sufficient. Learn this well too

4. Medical supplies is not talked about enough. I still marvel at how effective Tylenol, alcohol, peroxide etc. remains and how valuable this will be when the supply chain is paused

5. Food is an easy one. Spam was created by our government to feed the military decades ago. The stuff just lasts and supplies sustenance. Canned goods of your choice await you for stocking

6. Real Estate: I know people are rethinking right now where they want to resettle and a city life may not be the way to go. Some are frozen in place and others find the subject stressful. Buy, sell, own or rent and where is worth visiting with

7. Transportation both public and private is a must but will fail as there are only so many ways in and out and if jammed all stop! Motorcycles can make their own trail. Think: Musical chairs when the music stops! Do you even have a chair?

8. Rural areas: They don't know what all the fuss is about. They have it all and remain content from their original choice. Interesting to note that having some acreage with animals and garden planting pulls it weight and is normal to many

9. Acts of God: The only thing we know about this is to rebound after the fact. How to is a good question to ask & answer

10. Acts of man: Just when everything is going well someone has to disrupt it with greed, excess, or a selfish random act. Wise to set something up that allows a plan B when this happens. In a public pinch mankind adopts a mob mentality

11, At all times one should not forget their humanity. Fear does that! Yes a type of self-preservation kicks in however when things calm down & they eventually pass you have to live with yourself and your deeds. Make them guilt-free as  possible

12. What we all are up against is change! Think about it. We have had our routines disrupted, paused and threatened. Now is a good time to assess yourself, values, patience levels and priorities. Put this time to good use. Adapt & explore!

13. Take note at how we as a country operate and exist and to the levels we have reached collectively. It is amazing to see up close our systems of government, supply chains, medical, educational, and our order and laws to promote well-being

14. Take a look perhaps a long and hard one of what is and is not really important to you and why. I am not talking about the superficial or surface issues as mentioned but instead who you are & why you are here. Good time to reflect & ponder

I leave you with a blessing of peace and calm and ask that you discover the fine purpose of life and being at this time
