YouTube Thursdays - Taking Advantage of Video Playlists

I have not used the video embed button before, but I will have to check it out.  It might be easier than the way I currently do it.

This was a clever idea, and I too use the embed feature, you can also turn off the feature in Youtube to autoplay suggestions or remove the code by deleting it.

I have to really get on the playlist thing. You might be onto something I’m not mad at you :)

Playlists do more than keep the momentum going on your channel for stickiness and engagement. It makes it easier for your viewer, user to like a big box store to know where homes are, the land listing reside, where the waterfront properties hang out. Playlists make it not here is the whole shooting match of videos and you figure it out. Don't send email links to everything... just the listing, the playlist the property should be in so the buyer, seller all save time Debb Janes EcoBroker and Bernie Stea JD !

As usual you have highlighted another great video producer Joe Manausa . I too use the embed feature but was interesed to read what Nick Vandekar, 610-203-4543 had to say about turning off the feature to autoplay or remove the code by deleting it.

This is a wonderful topic and a terrific post to feature. I have a number of playlists but now am more aware I am not doing very much with them. Joe's tutorial was really helpful, and he doe some marvelous videos! Thanks!

Hi Debb Janes EcoBroker and Bernie Stea JD - I have been discouraged recently because even with all your wonderful tips, YouTube seems to have control over the end of our videos. I am using Vimeo more and more because of this.  I did check out Joe's helpful hint for embedding a playlist and may give it a shot on my next video.  

However, your tips and videos are an inspiration to all of us!

huh, never knew about Classy Nemesis. I always just build off of another HTML link. The suggested playlist is a problem as you only want the 4 you've shown & YT will just keep going. Goes off content & sometimes shows many videos you don't want to pass along with your business vids.

Hi Debb - here's a couple of things I recommend fwiw ;)
(1) Don't use the AR video tool because it (for some reason) disables full screen viewing on embedded videos. I really enjoy watching in full screen and miss when that feature is disabled. Insted you should use the HTML embed code (notice on your first video the full screen button is there but disabled)
(2) YouTube no longer supports disabling the showing of related video tiles at the end of your video (reference page) ... However, rel=0 while it no longer prevents showing related videos... It is still VERY useful as it will only show related videos from the same youtube channel. So at least that way, when you embed your own videos, it will only show related videos from YOUR CHANNEL. That's not a bad thing :)
