This Week...Family and Baking
This is a shortened version because this week has been busy.
Larry and I have baked cookies and prepared for Christmas. Like Thanksgiving, we had our more immediate family over and did our best to physical distance from each other.
Oddly enough, after baking all of the cookies, I rarely eat more than a few. After staring at them for so long and having cookie dough or flavoring all over my hands, when I’m done, I not that interested in eating them.
The same thing goes for any dishes I prepare for dinner. I enjoy making them but don’t really “dig into them” until the next day.
However you spent your Christmas I hope that you were safe and with friends and family either in person, via Zoom, or in spirit.
Have a Special Weekend.
At the end of your life, you will never regret not having passed one more test, not winning one more verdict, or not closing one more deal. You will regret time not spent with a husband, a friend, a child, a parent.
