You will find the neighborhood of Sorrel Ranch off Aurora Parkway and Alexander in Aurora CO 80016. Lennar built the first homes, then Meritage, and now Richmond Homes and LoKal are building brand new townhomes. Meritage is known for building energy-efficient homes.
You will find ranch and two-story homes with 2 and 3-car garages, some of which are tandem. Homes have from 1,500 above-ground square feet to a total of just under 6,000 finished square feet with 3-6 bedrooms and 2-5 bathrooms. These homes were built from 2004 to new builds (2021). There are currently 411 homes, which will increase as homes are currently being built. There are now condos being built as well.
This neighborhood is so convenient, being a hop, skip and jump to Southlands Mall where you have a multitude of retail options, dining options, and entertainment. There is a 24-screen AMC theater, and enjoy the Farmers Market on Saturdays in the summer. There are usually outdoor concerts also, but not this year with COVID. Aurora Reservoir is within minutes to enjoy kayaking, canoeing, swim beach, and paddleboarding, along with miles of trails to bike, hike, or walk the dog.
