Three Things For Real Estate Success

By
Real Estate Broker/Owner with HomeRome Realty 410-530-2400 311291

Three things that keep an agent going no matter what the market is doing

ONE:

The Need For Learning

Not only through our compulsory (CE) education, but each transaction is another opportunity to learn and share what you know. Great agents and professionals want to give information to other agents so that we are all better informed. When I speak with a colleague or a professional, including Realtor®,  lenders, inspectors, or a title attorney, there is always the opportunity to get a new idea, learn about new rules, change, or even new forms. And we know from our clients when they ask questions. Each day I am asked to clarify items in the contract. When working with buyers and sellers, the contract agreement addresses most concerns, but you, the professional, must know that contract and about any changes.

TWO

The Ability To Be Flexible.

The ability to change and match the energy of buyers and sellers is essential. We are communicating with different clients and professionals while there might be some turbulence. We need to adapt to the changes while keeping everyone calm and informed.  The term elastic energy sums it up.

THREE

A love for Real Estate

Do you love what you do? Being genuinely passionate about the industry will shine through to your clients. Seeing your love for the industry will help them place their trust in your hands. Not only that but being truly spirited for real estate will make practicing all of these other habits easier.

And three decades later, I am still going strong by learning, being flexible, and loving Real Estate!

Hi, Margaret.

Those attributes apply to other real estate-related professionals: lenders, attorneys, escrow officers, appraisers, inspectors, and everyone else who is a part of your team  who has contributed to a successful closing.

I loved the concept of your post and the "elastic energy" you pointed out.

Aura Alex, Yes, it does apply to most other professionals. I, too, loved the term "elastic energy."
