Education & Training with Retired Executive Director of Education at eXp Non-Licensed
Happy Monday!! I couldn't figure out why I was so tired this morning. WARNING! This is not my typical post on the AR Blog. (It's NOT A TUTORIAL) LOL~ You might not even recognize ActiveBrad in this one, but it really does explain why I am so exhausted today. I learned a neat little tip this weekend about Video. "When NOT To use a Tripod!" I know that many of you have read my top 10 tips for video, and this goes against everything I ever told you, but really, you tell me where a Tripod in this video has a legitimate purpose.
I told Rich I was going to post this today jokingly, but then I thought about it, and felt you guys might enjoy watching the personal Crazy side of ActiveBrad. Here's what happens at the Andersohn home on the last day of Summer, just before my kids all go back to school. This is the first video that I can honestly say would have been impossible to use a tripod. Seriously. I'm lucky I still have my flip video camera and that it's still all in one piece. :-O
Brad that brings a good question up...does the flip camera have a wrist strap? Also, I have come to the conclusion, they are much better when viewed in full screen mode :)
Not being a roller-coaster fan, this kind of had my stomach doing a flip or two! LOL I only have one question .... how the heck did you keep those sunglasses on?

Hey all, this week has been like riding one of these in real life! haha! Thanks for the comments, this was fun, and the day with the boys was the best. Might be the last time I do that again.... the rollercoaster and video that is. :-)

The Flip Video does have a strap, I'm surprised it didn't break on these coasters. lol~ The sunglasses on the other hand do not. Not quite sure how those stayed on my head.. :-)
the kids were great... still don't know why the camera wasn't still... if you just stand in one spot and get everything else to move... or something like that.

Ross - I was using a Flip Video, the res is 640x480. The video was edited using windows movie maker and then uploaded to AR video for final editing, hosting and production. The more you do with video, the easier it gets after time. This was just something fun, and was a spur of the moment idea. :-)

Fran - I am trying to create a Flip Video Accessory that will allow users the "Hands Free" capability. I'm thinking a custom made vest or shoulder harness. Not too many want to mess up their hair to wear the helmet cam. When I invent this puppy, it will be my claim to fame. It's not an easy creation, but I am working on something as we speak type. :-))
