Rant 1
If you live in the the South or the Southeast you are feeling the price of gas at the pumps. The reason is simple , There is a sucker born every minute. First people watched Ike roll in. Then they thought lets go fill up. So they did. They topped up , filled up, brought gas cans to the pumps etc. And the PT Barnum's of the world said, Oh my lets raise the prices as the demand is so up. WE are the suckers. I was trying to get gas, Why, because I needed it ! There was an old lady in front of me filling up her land Rover and she had 2 5 gallon cans she was also filling. Smiling all the way! The 2 things she did not do which is why she is still on this earth and I am not in jail is , 1 she did not complain about the price of gas going up , due to her and folks like her hoarding, and 2 she did not ask me to help her lift the gas cans in to the back of her land Rover. The oil companies do not even need to screw with us . We do a great job on our own.
Rant 2
Think about the bail out. It is ALREADY costing you. The price of a barrel of oil has risen 20 dollars in less than a week. Why because the people in Washington are once again devaluing our currency by bailing out the bozos who made the mess we are in. I have lived through many administrations but this administration is by far, hands down the worst I have ever seen. They have increased the size of Government, run up a debt, and conducted a lousy Foreign policy. Even Nixon who had to resign went to China. Clinton who got impeached left a budget surplus. It is rare that I would say this but the good news is whoever gets elected will not be able to do worse than the idiots we have running the country now. They make Congress look good. And that is probably their only positive achievement.
