Hi June, I can not fathom how artistic people that create these types of functional pieces can visualize the end result.  Great photo and post.

JUNE, I hope this brings what it is worth. (priceless IMHO!)  Love the album blocks and the geese are so colorful! Did you get to help in the sewing?  I love to hear about groups, even those far away from my area.  Our daughter lived in Maryland for a bit so maybe in one of those 6 degrees of separation sort of ways, we are almost neighbors!  Good luck with the event.  cheryl

Cheryl, I'm not actually a member of this group, however, they are a sister group to my guild and we like to help each other out.  I wish I had been involved in this quilt but alas no, perhaps I'll win it!!  My guild's show is coming up in March, so I'll be sure to post that here too.  June

My wise old grandmother taught me the beauty of quilts. She made a quilt for all of her children, grand children, and great grand children. I still have mine, but after 40 years it's looking pretty ragged. Nonetheless, it's the memory....
