It was great, but I had to let him go. Flat Caleb was always willing to go along on any adventure and meet new people. He was the perfect houseguest and I'll miss him, but he's moved on to his next host, Mariana Wagner in Colorado.
We couldn't just ship him off, of course. There had to be a party!
I found him, as usual, hard at work in the office, alternating between the computer and fax. With a busy day almost done, he needed a brief rest so he took a snooze and then jumped in the tub for a quick wash.
Party time! The word was out that an attractive young guy would be there, so there was no shortage of girls. Barbie was the first to snag him – girl, you need to work on the wardrobe and hair! Suddenly a little nymph fluttered in and stole the guest of honor from Barbie for a ride in her convertible – watch out Caleb, she's flighty.
All of a sudden there was a splash and eerie music. Caleb was hooked by the perfect girl, from her red hair to her broad, iridescent green tail. Looks like the ideal match for a guy with flippers and a snorkel mask.
Finally it was time to go. Caleb pointed out that we were low on fuel, and I agreed…we were both tired, but glad to have shared some great adventures.
Colorado, get ready…here comes Caleb!
