have nothing to add to media reports. Just as I do not practice law as a Real Estate Broker; neither am I a trained scientist. As a citizen of the Mississippi Gulf coast and one who delights in the beaches, I humbly ask all  to please don't add to the drama.
 

 
Please not that the sign above is very specific. Yes, it does hurt. We have regular fisher people who usually fish from these piers and jetties. I will miss seeing them. Some people fish for the sport, some fish for their meals. They will simply … (6 comments)

Some people shrug their shoulders and indicate, "What will be will be. We can overcome. Worse things can happen than the fish and birds population damaged. After Katrina, we can handle anything." Even so...Even if the Coast is filled with resilient over-comers, it is painful to think that innocent wildlife and people may pay the price for the BP's Oil Spill.
