preston nino: My Son Says The Funniest Things... A Family Post With Pictures. - 01/04/11 11:48 AM
I'm going to forget them if I don't write them down. I figured a public post was a great idea. I hope you guys enjoy these little boy sayings and pictures. Keep in mind my son is only 4.

A while back I spoke to Preston about church, what it means and how God was all around us. Days later we walked up to our Church and he asked.. "Daddy, is God in that house?"  My response was swift, "Of course he is, Preston." He then asked if we were going to be able to "meet him." That, of … (23 comments)

preston nino: Oh Christmas Tree.. - 11/30/08 04:37 AM
I really enjoy the Christmas Holiday. Typically after Thanksgiving - Friday we'll put up the tree and decorate the inside and outside of the house. We have tons of ornaments that are very old and very new. That's probably the coolest part. Hanging what used to hang on our grandmothers tree or even my mother's tree as a kid.
It took me about 6 hours to erect our 15 foot tree. It comes in 4 sections and requires the use of a 15 foot ladder to go with it.
Here's phase one, getting all the piecs out of the two body bags as … (24 comments)

preston nino: Preston Has His 2nd Birthday Party! - 11/16/08 10:31 AM

Today we had a birthday party for our son Preston who turns two on the 21st of this month. We held relay races, egg runs, balloon popping contests and musical chairs. I cooked up some chili dogs and all the fixins to go with it. Here's a pic on the left side of our house in our front yard.

The theme for the party? Cars. Preston points them out, plays with them and loves to explore them in real life.

preston nino: A Day At The Pumpkin Patch - 10/04/08 05:44 PM

Saturday we packed up the car & headed to the local Pumpkin Patch, Preston's first visit. We took tons of pictures, enjoyed a hay ride, train ride and also picked out 5 pumpkins for both carving and decoration.

Here's a pic of little Preston right as he got started to find his perfect pumpkin.

They had all sorts of great props available for great picture opportunites like this one. Preston found the hay irresistable, he kept pulling it & throwing it in the wind.

preston nino: Greg & Preston Watch Football.... - 08/18/08 07:31 AM
Me and Minie Me always watch football together...always. He wears his jersey & so do I. I feed him yogart, blueberries, Nilla wafers or whatever he likes that's on his menu for the day.....
We enjoyed the Cowboys game, even though we lost. Special teams and second string did much better than last week. Brad Johnson might be kept around longer after getting an opportunity to play with the first string Offensive line....
Do you watch football with your son?
