There are simple fixes around the home that can make a big difference when getting ready to sell. For instance, my next door neighbor just replaced her mailbox and so did I. They were starting to look old and beat up so we changed out the boxes and repainted the metal support pieces and repainted the numbers. Wow, they look really good now. There was an investment of time and not much money that made a huge difference.

Just a little more. A little more of 2014 left. A little more home improvements left to do. Just a little more time before my daughter's wedding. Just a little more time. Ever needed just a little more time? We all find ourselves in that conundrum. Needing just a bit more time.

A new year is upon us once again. All bright and shiny, and full of promise. Its a time to catch your breath, look at where you are, and see where it is you want to go. I love the anticipation that comes with a new year!
I need to get some painters in the house very soon to finish up a home improvement job that is in its 12th week. There is a daughter's wedding in less than two weeks coming up and lots of family will be here. A busy start to the year!

I love it when I get to show a home with a view to clients. It can be a view of the nearby Georgia mountains, a pristine lake, a wonderful stream flowing lazily by the home. These are really relaxing and clients love it. What I don't like is to arrive expecting a view, and be disappointed.
Yes, I agree you have a view of the lake. But only in the dead of Winter and if you crane your neck around to where you can't breathe, hop on one foot, and whistle Dixie. How can you improve your home if you … (2 comments)
