Luckily, in Real Estate transactions, the vast majority of closings go off without a hitch. There could be a document needed at the last minute, or something pops up that needs attending to, but all-in-all most closings are happy ones.
Then there are the ones we agents talk about over and over again. Like the closing where buyers and sellers had to be separated in different rooms so thatĀ no one would get hurt. Or the time the attorney disappeared from the table for awhile. She was doing drugs in her office! Or the time buyers refused to show up at the closing … (4 comments)

persistence: Ok, it didn't happen after all! - 01/31/12 12:43 AM
I wrote a post last week about losing the earnest money for a client. It was a tough one because my client is a military guy and everyone really wanted this deal to go through. Well, after writing this post, http://actvra.in/s9w, the loan officer ended up getting the deal to go through!
This deal had died more times than a cat with 9 lives. It just goes to show that you can neverĀ give up. I realy do not like the word, NO, so I always say, Yes, but.
