Like many people, I always loved animals and had many different pets to teach my children valuable life lessons. In this photograph you see my daughter hiking in the Swiss Alps. On her trails she was greeted by a Seedenhund, one of many Swiss Mountain Dogs. She has a way with animals that are always positive. They connect easily. November is the time to express gratitude. There are many things I am grateful for, but if I had to bundle my favorites inside a box with a pretty ribbon and top it with a bow, this is what you would find. A testimonial to what my best memories are, and why they are so special to me. Afterall, every single memory, big or small, great or not is a blessing to be pondered and appreciated. Giving thanks... On a quiet morning like today my mind tends to wander to trusty friends. Any friend you trust is the balm to help you heal when you’re in emotional pain and sorrow. They listen deeply without interruption. Any good advice softens the blow to a weary soul.
