marketing: Throwback Thursdays - Wyonegonic Camps - 06/09/23 05:14 AM
Wyonegonic Camps Established in 1902 to Present
Denmark, Maine

Thirty-Six years ago I was hired as a Bookkeeper at Wyonegonic Camps and my children were invited to participate in all Camp activities for the duration of my employment which lasted five years until I was offered full time work in Northern, Illinois. My son's 10 year duration at Winona, the brother camp, and my daughter's 8 years at Wyonegonic lasted longer until both were placed in Camp Counselor staff positions and later found meaningful work closer to home or abroad. Both transitioned from being children into responsible young adults and accomplished success.

For the month of January 2023, members on ActiveRain were given the challenge hosted by Anna Banana Kruchten Phoenix Broker and her co-host Aura Alex to write about their best ways to market effectively in the the real estate market using methods leading to success.
The best way to effectively market in real estate that has proven to me to lead to success is to stay passionate about business and continue to assist potential and former clients by educating, informing, and being present to them for their benefit as a friendly profesional in this shifting market.

ABOUT THE MUSEUM

What I like about the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth is that it is a source of inspiration, an opportunity to cultivate contentment, and a place where one can become more aware of patterns and reflection on creativity.

This photo was taken on an angle. The blue building is actually straight and in the right corner is real traffic flowing from across the street from where I was standing inside the Museum.

The history of the Modern art Museum of Fort Worth is unique for several reasons:

marketing: Windows Speak Louder Than Words - 04/28/19 03:11 AM
Motivational Post for 4/28/19

"Well done is better than well said."
---Benjamin Franklin

There is a saying Eyes are the Windows to the Soul. By the same token, when buying a home aesthetics are key. At the Dallas Arboretum, the Foxgloves got my attention but it was the windows that opened up my mind to possibilities and that is where my focus on this blog post begins.

The Home Buying Process

Before a buyer can look out a seller's windows to decide whether or not they want to buy a home, they have to be attracted to what they see from the outside looking into possibilities. … (60 comments)

marketing: PLEASE - DON'T LET THE CAT OUT! - 09/25/18 02:20 PM
by Patricia Feager, 9/25/18

I spied a sign this morning that was perfectly rectangle, but only my iPhone's eye didn't see it my way, which is probably the way a cat thinks. Anyways.....

I started thinking about the first listing I went to many years ago and the showing instructions said, "Please Don't Let the Cat Out!" Well, what do you suppose happened? If you guessed, the cat ran out as soon as I opened the door, you're right!

Cats are mysterious creatures and I often wonder who is more intelligent, a cat or its owner? As these feral creatures evolved, did their intelligence … (32 comments)

HISTORY OF SKYSCRAPERS

Like many major cities, Dallas boasts beautiful skyscrapers. The first steel-frame skyscraper, Home Insurance Building was built in the year 1885 in downtown Chicago, located on the corner of Adams and LaSalle Street. It was demolished in 1931 and replaced with the Field Building, also known as the LaSalle Bank Building. The architect for the Home Insurance Building skyscraper was William Lee Baron Jenney. His successful innovation gave rise to many exceptionally talented architects who constructed skyscrapers … (20 comments)

marketing: What's the Difference Between CMA & Market Value? - 05/20/18 10:05 AM
by Patricia Feager, 5/20/2018

In the State of Texas a CMA (Comparative Market Analysis) is an opinion of "an estimate of the probable selling price of a property." For this analysis, it is wise for sellers to use a local Real Estate licensee who can guide and determine a strategy for listing price. The advantage to the owner of the property is to see the active and sold competition within the immediate current and past three month scope. Knowing that sales are a moving target, an experienced Agent who knows the area and the business works with the Seller to adjust list … (7 comments)

marketing: Some Music Is For Selling - 05/08/18 09:45 AM
by Patricia Feager, 5/8/2018

Some homeowners and their Agents use music to market homes. While some music is for selling, some is not...

Why Should I Use Music?
Improve buyer's memory about houses under consideration Create a sense of inner peace for help in decision-making Bring a sense of cheerfulness Change the mood Calm the nerves of anxious buyers
Why Shouldn't I Use Music?
The wrong music can be a turn-off If the music is too loud, buyers may be distracted Buyers may leave feeling more depressed instead of happy If the wrong music triggers the wrong memory, buyers may have no interest Music … (73 comments)

Throwback Thursday

For Throwback Thursday I wanted to share my photograph taken at a quaint Coca Cola Ice Cream and Sandwich Shop in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. I framed it in this postage stamp frame in red and green to remind all of us how important Coca Cola was for the holidays and parties. The beverage was served inside people's homes, restaurants, schools, entertainment places, events, and even hospitals. Plus, it wasn't just local to these United States, it is known world-wide and offered in possibly all countries, including prisons. And it was served to prestigious people, e.g., politicians, Prime Ministers, … (19 comments)
