Delray Beach Sailboat Storage
Did you know that you can store your sailboat on the beach in Delray? 
Since 1980, boaters have been able to store their sailboats at the north end of the beach. It is the city’s way of helping to prevent the sailboats from running into swimmers.
What you need to know…
-There is an annual permit for $265 renewable on October 1.
-You can obtain a permit at the Ocean Rescue Headquarters located at 340 S. Ocean Blvd. in Delray from 8 - 5 pm Monday through Friday- 561-243-7252
All boats must display their beach stickers as well as be inspected and be maintained and in usable condition.
They must also be secured and must be removed from the beach should we go under a hurricane warning.
There are spots for 60 boats and many of the owners come together to share boating information, maintenance tips and just to get together to hang out.
