Thankful Thursdays…Blessed To Have Him

Just a few days before Hurricane Harvey (2017) made his presence known in Houston, my niece and her husband gratefully received little Raffe, who was just 9 days old. 

 

They began their journey as foster parents with the ultimate goal of adoption.  This week we celebrated his Adoption Day…September 27, 2019. 

 

 

He became a part of our family from the moment he entered our lives. My heart takes a special beat just thinking about the life he might have had were it not for my niece and her husband. 

 

However, the blessings are a two-way street. Our family has been enriched as we watched him grow from a tiny baby to a toddler interested in construction and garbage trucks…to beginning Kindergarten this Fall. 

 

 

 

Thank you, Raffe, for letting us be your family.

The adoption took time. The love arrived instantly.

Kat Palmiotti it truly was!!! He is so much fun. 

Nina Hollander, Broker my niece and her husband have done a beautiful job of providing the kind of life for him that he never would have had. And it's not material things but a family, love, and tools for going through life.

Your story warms my heart.  As a grandparent, there is just wonderful energy from our little ones.  From that GIF,  I see that Raffe fits that category. Haha.
