Most of us will remember Karen Carpenter singing about Rainy Days and Mondays, and with today's weather ... that song has been playing over and over in my head.It's a gray, cool and rainy day here in the Piedmont. The windows are open, the light breeze curling the sheers ... the smell of fresh rain filling the house. Mother Nature was all dressed up and had no place to go. So she decided to dance to her own tune. As she swirled in her gown of white against a blue stage she began to hear the music from afar.

Positive Ability - It's not just a mindset, it's a way of life. As I was shuttling laundry to the utility room and fussing at the dogs about shedding I caught my mind wandering off without me. (That happens a lot ... and those that know me know that it's just who I am) Anyway ... I found myself humming a tune that I had not thought about for probably 40 years or more. In the course of any given day I receive at least 100 or more emails. Some are from friends, some from business associates, some are mailing lists, etc. Quite an olio of topics. And every now and again there will something in one of those emails that makes me sit back and experience a true "Aha!" moment.

BREAKING NEWS! BURLINGTON NC/ALAMANCE COUNTY When I first came to the Burlington/Alamance County North Carolina area I met a gentleman at the local Keller Williams office. He was kind of shy and seemed a bit reserved. I immediately realized that he was new to the office ... there was just something about that 'wait and see' smile when he shook hands with the other agents. In the whirl of names, handshakes, personalities and 'you ought to's' he stood out as someone that has what it takes to be a success in real estate.
