Recently I read an article that rejected the idea that younger people can earn a living as real estate agents just because they are “tech savvy,” and that this somehow gives them an advantage that enables them to compete with more experienced agents.
The author went on to explain “I believe that there is plenty of business for agents young and old, and that we should encourage young people to join our profession. But we might be going about it all wrong.”

If you know me, you know I practically grew up in the Hamptons, when I was a small child I rode my horse in town...today the landscape has changed.... mention the Hamptons and images of Rich and Famous pop into ones head.
Today I read an interesting article about how the town wants to limit rentals of private homes to four unrelated residents. To fill you in a rental in the Hamptons for the summer can be anywhere from 10,000 to 200,000 for average homes and quite a bit more for some truly outstanding estates. I'm gonna put my foot down today and finally say what one calls the Elephant in the room and that is this.... "There is just no room to have THREE giant players Zillow, Trulia, and Realtor.com in today's marketplace." First I'll disclose that I think we as business people are idiots for allowing our content to be sold back to us....
