Updated 1/22/2009 Great - just when you thought this stuff was over, Mars Petcare, makers of Pedigree and Members Mark (Sams Club) Pet Foods are voluntarily recalling pet foods contaminated with salmonella from the Everson, PA dry pet food plant. Please go to the link and be sure your pets (BOTH CATS AND DOGS) are not eating any of this food!

This is Max – let’s face it he was huge! My sister, Joni raised him from a pup and walked him every day rain or shine for a couple miles near their home which is near a great prairie path. That’s probably where “contact” had been made either in the woods or somewhere on the path.
