So the Supreme Court says it is OK for manufacturers to set retail prices?
And this will lead to further advances in competition?
And it will benefit the consumer?
Some bewonderments about this development:
We have become accustomed to retailers setting their own prices for products on their shelves.  Lower prices to benefit all.  Now, according to the NY Times the Supremes say, "...the new rule could in some instances lead to more competition and better service."
Will the Department of Justice continue to hammer away obsessively at nonexistent NAR monopolistic practices, like Inspector Javert pursuing Valjean in Les Miserables?
Or, will a similar legal philosophy relieve NAR of some pointless persecution from … (8 comments)
