It’s no secret that Californians have been anxious to see the ending of drought we have endured for 5 years. But, I’d venture to guess most hoped we would more gracefully exit our elongated dry spell. Alas, it wasn’t to be!
In the Greater Sacramento area, we have spent several days in continuing rain storms. We are well above any average or normal ranges for rainfall. And, after lackluster early winter snowfall in the Sierra Nevadas, we are currently receiving hefty amounts of the white stuff in the mountains.
