The Bakken Oil Field in Western North Dakota has had it's up's and downs and now it is swinging back to the "Up" side so it's the perfect time to get in and build your business with this 18 spot (expandable to 24 spots) RV park. Located on the East side of Stanley ND just off of Hwy 2 it is an ideal location for those coming to work in the oil field. It is also a great place to spend the night before heading into the North Unit of the Roosevelt State Park Badlands. Included in this sale is the 5.44 acre (7 comments)
In response to Liz and Bill Spear 's challenge as to What I Love About My Job of course the number one reason is my boss. My boss is kind, gentle, understanding , nearly omniscient (not to mention that he is omnipresent just for me). Granted he could be a little younger and better looking but that's what keeps him so awesomely humble. Not to mention that he has the same name as me... oh right... he is me, Bob Timm, Owner/Broker of National Marketing Realtors.
Next on my list as to why I love my occupation is that it is my privilege to help people (12 comments)
And the whole family watched. Last night I and the family spent the night with Marilyn Monroe, Elvis Presley and Sandy and Danny from Grease. I had agreed to sponsor this event, a benefit for the Rural Firefighters of Minot ND. The two actors performers who played the four parts were excellent and very professional. I felt for them as they performed under less that ideal conditions. They performed in a banquet type of room with NO flexibility in lighting and used the rooms public address system. Even with terrible sound and lighting they delighted their audience.
Marilyn Monroe and Sandy from Grease are played/performed by Holly Beavon. Elvis Presley (8 comments)
As a member of The Northern Tier Federal Credit Union Supervisory Committee I receive a regional Credit Union eNews Letter. An article by Trevor Plett titled Will Deregulation Really Bring Oil Jobs Back? caught my attention so I clicked on the link and I'm really glad I did. I think Trevor's view is spot on. From the very beginning of "The Boom" experts were saying there is more oil under North Dakota than under the Middle East... so what happened? This paragraph by Trevor sums it up very well: The oil “bust” in western North Dakota isn’t a “bust” in the traditional sense. It isn’t (5 comments)
Apple trees are beautiful in the spring and most of us really enjoy the fruit as well. What none of us enjoy is the clean up when we have a bountiful harvest. Believe it or not my family and I had cleaned up an amount of apples easily equal to what you see on the ground here just 3 days prior. Now, after a stormy evening we get to do it all over again. Judging by what I can see in the tree we will doing it again and again. Fruit trees are always beautiful and the harvest can be tasty BUT if you have family (12 comments)
I happened to notice this little guy on the exterior wall of our home next to the front door. He is only about the size of a dime but he seemed so out of proportion with his BIG Head. I didn't really notice his beauty until I got the picture into my Photoscape program to crop and resize the picture. One I did crop and re-size his color really came to life including what looks like a nice head of brown hair (yes I'm jealous). Like the bumble bee I wondered how this thin could fly when it appears that half it's body is head. I know all moths (10 comments)
Buyers & Sellers Be Prepared for the Final Walk Thru
The final walk thru is a vital part of the Real Estate transaction and should be held no less than 24 hours prior to closing BUT 48 hours would be even better. The purpose of the walk thru is to see that the home is in an acceptable condition before the Buyer closes the deal. SELLERS NOTE, get out of the house no less than 48 hours before closing so you can have time to vacuum, clean, and make last minute repairs. You can read about my worst final walk through by (6 comments)
