There are only 3 homes located on Debra Court in NW Minot ND. The City assessor has these three homes valued from $220,000. to $259,000. These homes were built between 1974 and 1975. I found it interesting that the last time a home was sold on Debra court was in 2005. Evidently Debra Court is a great place to live and stay put!

Earlier today I asked the question: Why are you in the office today?
It's January 2nd, technically a holiday, banks are closed as well as government offices.. so why are you in the office?
The answer for myself is that I'm getting my books in order for tax reasons. I want to be more "on top of" my file keeping in 2017 then in previous years. File keeping has always been a chore I've passed on to my secretary and accountant. I'm thinking if I keep better tabs on where the money is going I can make my corporation run more … (17 comments)

We had 9 closings this week, an improvement over the 6 last week in our very narrow category of stick-built single family homes within the City limits of Minot. Of the homes that closed this week the average days on market was 117, a HUGE increase over the 57 days on market last week which I commented was the best I’d seen all year.
The chart above is the total MLS activity for the week. This includes ALL types of properties as well as all cities in our MLS. The chart below is very restrictive as explained below.

20 hours after the end of the storm I'm still stranded at home even though we live near the heart of the City and on a fairly important street. But of course the City got right out there and cleared the entire Roosevelt Park Zoo parking lot... even though it's closed for the winter.
I really don't mind being stranded at home, it's like the vacation I wouldn't take for Christmas but should. I can see another game of Monopoly coming on soon.

It's Here!
It didn't arrive until yesterday (Christmas) afternoon but it's here now and it's not leaving as fast as they predicted either. Here are a few shots of my son Timmothy as we and I went out to "explore" the situation.
Timmothy is standing next to and behind a drift that formed around the cars in out driveway.
I keep our snow throwers under our car port in the area usually unaffected by the weather.

Laurel Lane is located in NW Minot. There are 10 homes on Laurel Lane, they were all built between the years of 2011 and 2012. The City Assessor has these homes valued from $289,000 to $362,000. It's a very nice neighborhood. There are currently no homes listed for sale on Laurel Lane but if you want to live there I will go knocking on doors and see if we can make room for you.

Winter or Summer it's a good idea for a home owner to walk around their property on a regular basis... even if the temperatures have been subzero. The old saying 30 below keeps the riff-raff out doesn't always hold true so it's a good idea to make sure everything is in it's place. Also a harsh winter storm can damage property just like a summer storm can. Here is my inspection of the day, our first day of above zero temps after a few subzero days.

Shirley Court is located in NE Minot ND immediately North of McKinley Elementary School. There are 20 homes on Shirley Court and the City Assessor has them valued from $88,000 to $256,000. There are 15 homes on Ida Mae Court. The City Assessor has them valued from $212,000 to $332,000 with the average being $270,000. The homes on Ida Mae Court were built between 1962 and 1971.
Ida Mae Court is very near Irma Court in Minot ND. It is my understanding that Ida Mae and Irma were sisters. I do not know how they were related to the developer but I think I heard that one was the wife of the developer and the other was his sister-in-law.
