Since it rained every day, seeing the local Geckos in action were quick looks. When we did see them they were delightful to watch. Never knew that when they were 'waiting for a meal'- they flattened themselves on the ground; in fact, the first one I saw looked like it had been splatted by a human. Boy do they move fast!!!The other views in this area of Florida were not so delightful....   ...these are seen in Michigan--all over--  and on I=95 in Florida too....OK can live with them- they indicate progress,   Right....saw loads of these--but did not realize that they can bend over so far … (2 comments)

Prayers to all of you who ARE, HAVE, KNOW a Military Active, Reserve, Retired Person !THANK YOU!The best part of our trip to Florida this past week was in meeting so many of our Active Military in the various gates in our four airport stands.  They were all going to meet with family & friends over this Holiday.To a person, they were all so humble & astonished or embarrassed by the attention that they received from many travelers [this also made us thrilled to see so many shake the hands & thank the individuals.]Now, on to the Title---    How could someone travel … (0 comments)

This image is so important to us [Sal & I] right now;It is 2009 4mo. + 15 days into the year.   Look around at the state of many of our States.On a daily basis--life changing News is reaching around our Country, touching most, if not all, of usin some way. News can be  good, bad, or ugly [ refuse to place those terms in alphabetical order as I normally do]...hearing today's News here in Michigan...acknowledging that many sister States are dealing with similar situations...realizing that everything IS cyclical...watching good people leaving our Profession & other related Professions...scrambling to find those methods to grow this business of … (0 comments)

This is our Flag under the winter sky, with a special  cloud formation.It looks like an eye to us--God's Eye--watching over our Flag & by association All of us.
Why the title...the other day --on the radio, the fill-in Host for Rush Limbaugh made a statement that was striking & all the more so as he had an English [UK] or Australian accent. I should know as I've heard him many times. Regardless, it was the statement spoken in the beautiful English accent that caught the attention. The statement was .....' Everyone knows that statement concerning the Rock / Hard Place, right?So tell me how is it that this knowledge isn't common place within Committee meetings where 'Energy Conservation' Statements  are produced.
Came across this Macomb County article on April 30 concerning the conservation of Water [usage rules being considered via Group Think] No lawn, laundry or ??? use of water  from 6:00 am to 9:00 pm Most areas utilizing usage rules do / did follow the adage that...during periods of hi heat / drought conditions. heavy normal water usage...it is recommended or mandated that the watering of lawns be delayed until after the 6-9:00 A.M. / work, … (0 comments)
