My clients are shopping for a home in Lakewood or Arvada, so I thought I'd write about what I'm showing them. That way, you could contact me if you have questions about homes in these towns, or specific questions about the homes I write about.
Today, we saw two more Lakewood homes and one in Arvada. One of the Lakewood homes was a ranch-style with a basement, no garage, built in 1934 on over half an acre. The house had a good floor plan, except that there was only one bedroom on the main floor. There were two more bedrooms in the basement, but the ceiing was short, so not livable space for my tall client. If you're looking for a 25,000 square foot lot to build on, this house could be scraped.
The other Lakewood home was a bi-level built in 1962. 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a 1-car garage. This was a good-sized home, with 1,860 square feet. It has a new roof, wood floors and two fireplaces. One thing that's a little odd is the kitchen is in the lower level and the living room upstairs. Two bedrooms were upstairs, one was downstairs.
My client isn't interested in either of these for personal reasons, but if they sound like what you're looking for, give me a call. We did see a home in Arvada that they liked, but I'm not gonna tell you about that one, cuz it's THEIRS!
