Kathy, Nice photo … I can taste the pie already … but you will need to bake it before I can actually eat it!
Hi Kathy,
Thank you for that glorious photo. Now you are making my mouth water. LOL
Steve
I don't even know what that is and have never heard of that pie...I love pie though!
Not sure what kind of pie that would be Little One, but I trust you..........so bring it on. Love the photo, very colorful, thank Larry. Is he your hubby?
Kathleen- you know, the only pie I've ever made is a chocolate pecan pie. How about that?
Steve- Me too, all those lovely carbs and calories!
Juli- I checked Wikipedia and they're supposedly safe. I think I'll make my pie from a Granny Smith, though.
Sharon- we see these where we walk. I've never heard of anyone making a pie from them but I hear people make jelly from them. I was also told that turtles like to eat them when they fall off the tree.
Roger- well, like I said above, I'm still sticking with granny smith! And, yep, Larry is my one and only. (Husband)
Patsy-The only place I've seen it was where I walk. They add a nice touch of "apple" green to the landscaping!
Granny Smith seems much safer, go with it. Thank the hubby for the pic too.
Roger- He says "You're welcome!"
John - You wouldn't be alone. I think this one is best for the turtles.
Hi Kathy, what a gorgeous picture taken, looks so real, I am tempted to grab it.
Hi Kathy, I don't think I've ever seen a fruit like that before nor heard of Annona Glabra pie. It's definitely not something you'll find in a grocery store!
Silvia- We have a lot of the trees in our wetlands areas. Annona Glabra is the binomial name for the pond apple.
Kathy, As always learned something new today..annona glabra is an APPLE. Doesn't sound toooo appealing :)
Rebecca- I saw more of them today on my walk! And, will post a follow up surprise video this week!
