Yesterday I got the following email:

I did take out bits of it that were more personal. I considered making this a "members only" post to only share with my ActiveRain friends, but I'm leaving it public for the simple reason.. I want any comsumer to know service doesn't end with the closing at Lane Realty. We really care about our clients and usally they end up in our circle of friends.

Tammy you could make your living being a referral expert for everything under the sun. Is there anyone or anything you don't know?

Many thanks for the tip. I will definitely look at their web site and speak with them. The guy at the Macon place didn't even give me the courtesy of a call back after I sent him some information about the house. He was luke warm over the phone, so he is probably not interested in my business.

Again thanks for the wood stove tip and for continuing to be a blessing to me. That is what sets you above most other brokers. Once the deal is done, they don't want to be bothered anymore. Nice to know I got one of the good ones.

And if you call Lane Realty, you too can "get one of the good ones".

Our pledge to service has always been... "we come with the house, whatever house you buy"

Tni- Sad not everyone shares our opnion on this.

Todd- this client won't be moving in to her retirement home she just purchased for over a year. It's got to be stressful to be across the country from it. I certainly intend to help her make it through until she gets here.

Praful- I have a office full of people who care about their clients and I'm proud to be able to show they can tell we care about them.

Tim- Ah, Haven't done that yet, but with 19 years in I could be getting close.

Tammy, It is pride in oneself and also putting yourself in that persons shoes. I received a call from a person what was looking for a rent, she is relocating to this area and saw our sign at a house. Unfortunately it was rented, and I told her we could NOT get the sign out due to all the snow. However, I would be glad to help her find a rental if she'd like. She was floored. I was the first realtor that *volunteered* to help. She put calls into 8 other agencies... and NOT ONE CALLED HER back. There loss. I just found her a rental this weekend. Not bad for 3 hours worth of work.

Tammy ~ I love it when we get emails like that. It is about the service and it doesn't go away after the sale. It shows how much you really do care and that is why she is letting you know. I hate it when someone does not call me back. I have had a few of those lately and its one of my pet peeves. I too like you slogan.

Martha- It really has always worked for us and it makes for lots of great referal business.

Carla- Most people truly appreciate our dedication to service.

Susie- you are just too sweet. And your spring time photo helps make winter better. I think of you every single day.

Sharon- As one of the smaller firms in the area I tell people they aren't getting the biggest.... but instead the best

Valerie- you have to have a level of service that makes clients know they can count on you.

Carol & Lee- I find as a general rule I just "click" with clients.

June- *snickering* as I know agents who leave their manners behind as soon as a contract is signed, and don't even wait for the closing. I don't know how they stay in business with no repeat business and no referrals.
