The poll results of Your Favorite July 4th Movies are in!

Favorite July 4th MoviesI know you must have been waiting with bated breath for the results of my Happy Birthday America blog poll.   It didn't take much thought and it was just something fun for readers to do.

Since we here in South Florida had some showers in the forecast I was wondering what movies would be perfect July 4th movies to watch.  It was also a quiet sports day as well so what a great time to watch a movie.

As it turned out,  we didn't have time for a movie, and having read a lot of your posts on July 4th... many of you didn't either.

So here are the results... and should you have some free time, head to Netflix or your library and enjoy!

Favorite July 4th Movies

It looks like our favorite July 4th movies are Independence Day and The Patriot, with 29% each of the results.  1776, Born on the Fourth of July, and The Crossing are equally liked by about 14% of the respondents. And poor John Adams, the HBO Miniseries ( the winner of 4 Golden Globes) did not even receive 1 vote.

Enjoy your weekend!

Good morning, Kathy. I must have missed your survey somewhere down the line. I have not had that much time to spend on AR here lately.

Kathy - I also missed the survey - darn!  I did not get a chance to watch any of the movies, but I do love some of those great movies and they are well worth watching again.

Kathy - I've seen all these movies and they are all really profound and great, but my favorite is the Patriot - amazing how we beat the British, the most powerful Amy/navy with literally no experience or supplies. Thank God the French finally arrived, but we did hold our own until they finally got here!
