Hey Karen...do you all down South (and in the warmer climates) go thru the same fall/winter slower Staging season due to less sellers putting their homes on the market during holidays (and again for us duing the colder winter months?) Just curious... :)

I've noticed a TON of furniture sales now and wondered up North here if that is because most Stagers in our area currently aren't in need of more furniture because all of our SOLD homes inventory is coming back into the warehouse and not needed again yet.

Hey Beth!

I think it really depends on the area. Locally there are approx. 50,000 properties for sale in the DFW market - it's an astonishing number. I still get calls most weeks (not that it translates into a job always) and mostly now it's vacant properties. Many have already been sitting on the market since spring and summer so at this point, heading into the holidays it's not getting any easier. There are always buyers out there and anytime of the year is a candidate. But I know that typically, the holiday months are slow.
