I wrote a blog on the wildlife in California recently. I talked about the bears, coyotes, bobcats and I think I mentioned the raccoons. These critters are everywhere. At least your cats will be occupied for a while. Thanks for sharing the photo.

This little guy comes by to visit every night just about 10 pm. I think he cleans up the leftovers that the birds and squirrels don't eat during the day. And he polishes the bowls on the step where we feed a feral cat who also stops by daily.
Some nights we have raccoons, possums and skunks all vying for whatever scraps they can find. Our cats don't seem to mind the possums and skunks and will sit outside on the steps with them, but they get excited about the raccoons - maybe they think they are big cats.
Susan, how cute are these pictures ...LOL...a friend has a cat wonders the neighborhood amazing who it will bring home for dinner ;p

They seem to be warily eyeing each other. Sort of like listing agents and buyer's agents. Who's making the next move. Looks like you cats have the visitor outnumbered.

I like raccoons, possums, skunks, and squirrels they can come and I WILL feed them.
