10th IDBF World Dragon Boat Racing Championship in Tampa-Florida starts today

The 10th IDBF World Dragon Boat Racing Championship starts today in Tampa-Florida with the opening ceremonies at Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park in Tampa tonight from 7-9pm.

The World Championship races begin tomorrow through Sunday Aug 7 at Seddon Park. To view more about the Dragon Boat Races, go to their website. Or visit them on Facebook atTampa Bay Dragon Boat Institute

There will be over 2,000 Dragon Boat Athletes from around the world participating. And, this event is free to the public and if you're looking for something to do-head over to Seddon Park in Tampa-Florida.

Toni, way kewl, these races are getting around! The were well attended again this year, but was SO HOT, nearly 100 degrees both days. Without being able to get in the water, it was too hot to wander around!
