Quilting seems to be a popular past time!  My mom loves to quilt and even more so when she gets together with friends.  This sounds like a great event for many to enjoy!

I was just checking out the intricacies of our quilt as I lay in bed this morning.  Ron and I picked out every fabric on a visit to Bozeman, Montana.  We walked into to a beautiful quilt store and picked out a pattern, and it was made for us.  We treasure it in the warmer months as it is the perfect cover for our bed. A

Toni, I really admire those who have the patience to do this kind of work. This sounds like a wonderful event to showcase their talents.

Hi Toni,  I can remember both my grandmothers in Pennsylvania, doing this at the church on Saturday morning.

I never made anything quite as beautiful as those pictured in your post, but I am certainly glad that my mom taught me the art of quilting.

I really love quilts...  my grandmother made them for all of us and they really are a treasure.  My sister also makes them.. she fell in love with them because of the beautiful work my grandmother did.  I would love to go to this event...  it would be so nice to view others lovely work!

Personally, I'm not big into quilting, but this looks like sometime that many of my quilter friends would love. (if it were closer of course).
